Gabonese first lady buried in Congo

22 — The remains of the late First Lady of Congo, Edith Lucie Bongo Ondimba, were interred in Edu, Congo, after a short religious ceremony witnessed by seven African leaders and several others at the family's cemetery on Sunday.

The burial was witnessed by bereaved President Omar Bongo Ondimba as well as Den is Sassou Nguesso (Congo) father of the late First Lady ; François Bozize (Central Africa Republic), Teodoro Obiang Nguema (Equatorial Gui nea), Yayi Boni (Benin), Joseph Desire Kabila (DR Congo), Faure Gnassingbe (Togo ) and hundreds of mourners.
