Nigeria: Total Moves to Supply 320 MSCF/D of Gas to NLNG

Lagos — FOLLOWING the successful discovery of enormous gas deposit in the Akpo oil field on oil mining lease (OML)123 about 200 kilometers off the coast of Portharcourt, Total Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited have concluded plans to supply the train 6 of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Company with an estimated 320 million standard cubic feet (Mscf) of gas.

The Apko oil field which is renowned for its enormous gas deposits would specifically commence the supply of gas to the NLNG by the end of April 2009.
