Nigeria: First International Conference on Air Safety Held in Tinapa

Calabar — The first International Conference on Air Safety, International Business Investments, Tourism, Immigration and Information Technology in Africa and Asia (ICASITIA) organized by Association for Flight Safety International in collaboration with University of the West of Scotland, UK Law Annex has opened in Calabar.

Declaring the conference open at Tinapa, President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua said that the nation will not compromise standards in its determination to provide safety and security at the airports despite the global economic meltdown.
