Kampala — AMURU town council has built a modern office block at a cost of sh153m. The funds were provided by the Government through the unconditional grant scheme.
The town clerk, Donato Oola, told The New Vision on Friday that the construction work that started in the financial year 2006/2007, was expected to be completed this week.
Oola said the Government valuer was yet to determine the cost of land in the municipality before the authorities would sell it to private developers.
"We shall then allocate plots for the construction of commercial and residential buildings," Oola said.
