Angola: Writer Presents Book in Benguela

The Angolan writer, Isabel Ferreira, will hold on Friday in central Benguela province a session of sale and signing of autographs of her latest literary work entitled "O Guardador de Memórias", to take place at inn Solar dos Leões, in capital of the province.

Speaking to Angop, the writer stated that at least 200 copies of the book will be available to local public for 3,000 kwanzas each.

She indicated that her visit to central Benguela province is sponsored by the provincial government, stressing that the event will include the exhibition of traditional dance performed by the local groups and the exhibition of paintings by the plastic artist Delho Baptista.

Isabel Ferreira declared delighted to visit Benguela, a province, she referred, of renowned writers, such as Artur Pestana "Pepetela" and Aires de Almeida Santos, the author of the poem "Meu Amor da Rua Onze".
