Lobito — Angolan deputy minister of Territory Administration, Graciano Domingos, Tuesday in Kulango village, central Benguela province, appealed to local authorities to develop the villages and communes, in line with urban patterns.
Graciano Domingos visited Kulango village, some 45 kilometres of Benguel'a Port city of Lobito, to view the social undertakings built under the District Administration Fund.
On the occasion, the official said that the urbanisation of villages and communes helps the Government develop medium and long term social impact programmes in the communities.
He mentioned that once the villages and communes get urbanised, the Government finds it easier to install water and electricity systems, public lighting, schools, medical centres and improve the living of the populations.
A medical centre and a primary school have been built at Kulango, under the Administration Support Fund that also covered the installation of a public solar lighting system currently under test.
