Cabinda — The Action and Development Plan of the Interior Ministry for the 2009-2012 period is on top of Wednesday's agenda of the works of the institution's Broad Consultative Council, which started Tuesday in northern Cabinda province, under incumbent
minister, Roberto Leal Monteiro "Ngongo".
Speaking to Angop, the national director of the Office for Studies, information and Analysis of the Interior Ministry, commissioner Carlos Alberto Burity da Silva, said that the plan comprises the strategic and operation goals of the institution for this year.
This guiding tool contains the main guidelines for the various organs and areas of action of the Interior Ministry until 2012.
At Wednesday's session, the participants will also discuss the Ministry's master plan for 2009, a document which contains the sector's guidelines for all organs linked to the Interior Ministry.
The bill on the private security firms is also part of the topics to be discussed by the Broad Consultative Council of the ministry expected to end on Thursday.
The event is being attended by officers of the Interior Ministry's central and local organs and provincial delegates.
