Luanda — At least 2,300 homes will be built by 2012 in Bié province, part of the Central Government Housing Programme, Angop has learnt Monday from the local governor, Cândida Celeste.
The first national conference on housing that gathers since 10am about 700 people at Congresses Palace in the country's capital, Bie governor referred that the plan will benefit about 16,200 citizens in the province, and in the distribution stage it will give priority to technicians and specialists of different areas.
She said that the executive will, through low-income condominiums, build some homes for the people and organize neighbourhoods through directed construction.
Currently, the governor said without revealing numbers, there has already been made land reservation and there was already marked the site for the construction of low-income houses.
