Nigeria: Education Roadmap Campaign Kicks-Off May

Abuja — An extra-ordinary session of the National Council on Education (NCE), the highest decision-making body in the sector, which met in Abuja, yesterday, has approved roadmap for the development of the Nigerian education sector, recently presented by Minister of Education, Dr Sam Egwu.

As part of the turn-around strategies for the sector, the Federal Ministry of Education is to kick-off a national campaign on access to education, to intensify sensitisation, advocacy and mobilisation in support of enrolment and retention in school.
