Harare — THE inclusive Government should serve all Zimbabweans for the development of the nation, December 12 Movement secretary-general Cde Coltrane Chimurenga has said.
In an interview last week, Cde Chimurenga, who was in Zimbabwe for the 29th Independence anniversary celebrations, said the Government should work to unite the people under one leadership.
Cde Chimurenga, who also attended the children's party co-hosted by President Mugabe and First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe for children between the ages of six and 17, said the inclusive Government was not something new for Zimbabwe.
"When Zimbabwe attained independence in 1980 Rhodesians became a part of the new government for the country to move forward and for this, President Mugabe should be hailed as a true hero and visionary leader," he said.
The New York-based December 12 Movement has been supporting Zimbabwe by explaining the need for land reform in the United States.
The group has also been calling for the lifting of the illegal economic sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe by the European Union, the United States and their allies in response to the land reform programme.
