Eritrea: Aljazeera TV Highlights Rejection of Baseless Allegation That Israel And Iran Have Bases in the Country

Asmara — Quoting the Eritrean Foreign Ministry's press statement, Aljazeera Television highlighted Eritrea's rejection of baseless allegation that 'Israel and Iran have bases in Eritrea.'

The TV station noted that Eritrea has dismissed the report as an act of pure slander and pointed out that there exist no bases of any country in Eritrea, be it Israel or Iran.

Citing the Foreign Ministry's press statement, Aljazeera TV further explained that the existing warm diplomatic ties between Eritrea and Iran is no different from its close relations with the other countries of the Middle East.
