Somalia: Two Foreign Aid Workers Released

Somalia — Two foreign aid workers working for Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) have been released by Somali gunmen, elders said on Tuesday.
Clan elders in Rabdure district in Bakol region confirmed the release of two MSF employees, one Belgian and one Dutch aid worker.
The clan elders said no ransom has been paid to the kidnappers. The kidnappers had demanded 4 million dollars.
The two European aid workers were kidnapped on 10 April heading to Hudur town, the provincial capital of Bakol region in south western Somalia.
