Nigeria: SEC Summons NSE Over Stockbrokers' Suspension

Lagos — Strong indications emerged yesterday that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has summoned management of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) over suspension of three stockbroking firms last week.

The NSE had suspended Capital Bancorp Limited, Hamilton Hammer and Company Limited and Arian Capital Management Limited, citing irregularities.
