Investors have an opportunity to build an upmarket camp at the 90,000 acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia.
In an interview with Business Daily, chief executive Richard Vigne said the planned tented camp will be a high quality tourism facility for accommodating visitors.
Investors with experience in the development and successful operation of up-market hotels and camps in eastern Africa have been asked to submit their proposals.
The winner of the contract will get a 30-year lease to develop and operate a 26 bed camp.
The conservancy boosts the largest sanctuary for black rhinos in East Africa and it is the only chimpanzee sanctuary in the country.
Existing facilities there include the Sweetwaters tented camp and Ol Pejeta House, both run by Serena hotels.
The conservancy is also home to game including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos.
