The Niger State Government has announced plans to construct 3,000 housing units in the state before 2011, This Day reports.
Salome Ndakotsu, state commissioner for lands and housing said the project will be executed through a public private partnership initiative.
According to the commissioner the land for the houses has already been acquired.
She added that all houses will be sold on a first come, first serve basis when completed.
