Somalia: ARS Denies That Eritrea Deployed Weapons

Somalia — Abdukadir Haji Mohamud Dakane, an assistant for the Alliance of the Re-liberation of Somalia, the Asmara based wing has denied on Tuesday that Eritrea deployed illegal weapon into Somalia.

Mr. Abdukadir who is Dubai told Shabelle radio that the statement of the transitional government that Eritrean government deployed weapons into southern Somalia in the past recent days was false adding that they the government does have any evidence for the accusations.

"We are very sorry about that false. Somalia has already been imposed weapon embargo and the person who is saying that Eritrea brought weapon in Somalia meant that he is calling for Ethiopia to come back to Somalia," Mr. Abdukadir said.

The assistant of the alliance also suggested accusations to the national Security minister of the transitional government colonel Omar Hashi Aden that he is creating war starts in Somalia.

The statement of ARS, Asmara based wing comes as the national security minister of the transitional government held a press conference in Mogadishu recently and accused Eritrean government for deploying illegal weapons in Somalia.
