Angola: Chicoil Group Invests U.S. $200 Million in Construction of Hotels

Lubango — Angolan CHICOIL Business Group is investing USD 200 million since 2008 for the construction of five hotels in the provinces of Huíla, Namibe, Benguela and Lunda Sul, part of a programme to expand the network of hotels in the country.

The CEO of group, Elias Chimuco, told ANGOP that two hotels are being built in Benguela province and the provinces of Namibe, Lunda Sul and Huíla will count on one each, from three to five-start categories.

Without stating the amount invested in other provinces, Elias Chimuco informed that the hotel under construction in Huíla is estimated at USD 20 million.

He added that after building the five hotels, the group's administration intends to build eight more in other Angolan provinces.
