Angola: Petro De Luanda Start Defending Title

Luanda — The senior women's handball team of Petro de Luanda will this Thursday begin defending, in Cotonou (Benin), the title of the 25th edition of the African Cup of Cups, after having won the Babacar Fall Super Cup.

To happen until May 17, at L"Amitié sports complex, the tournament shall be played in two groups. Petro de Luanda, titleholder, is in group A, with FAP of Cameroon, GSP of Algeria, Patronage of Congo and Olympique of Guinea Conakry.

On its turn, Electro do Lobito, the other Angolan representative in the competition, is part of group B, with TKC of Cameroon, Rombo Sport of Cote d'Ivoire, Héritage of DRC and Aso Baobá of Benin.
