Southern Africa: Mozambique-South Africa Summit Delayed

Pretoria — Mozambican President Armando Guebuza said in Pretoria on Sunday that a bilateral summit between himself and newly elected South African President Jacob Zuma is dependent on priorities, particularly on the South African side.

Addressing reporters at Johannesburg airport, shortly before departing to Maputo, after attending the ceremony to swear Zuma into office on Saturday, Guebuza said that the summit cannot take place as yet, because other matters were given priority.
