Kampala — All senior officers of the Criminal Investigations Department headquarters, except spokesman Fred Enanga, have been transferred in a major shake-up.
Twenty-one officers will move from the CID directorate to handle general duties under a reshuffle ordered by Police chief Maj. Gen. Kale Kayihura. Over all, 48 officers are affected across investigations directorates The transfers took immediate effect and the chiefs are now awaiting redeployment, assistant Inspector General of Police Richard Bisherurwa said in a statement.
