Ibadan — Shooting Stars Sports Club {3SC} have formally protested the unruly behavior of fans of Bendel Insurance who held the team hostage after a 1-1 draw with the home team in Benin last weekend The state's Commissioner for Sports, Joe Makanjuola said the protest was to draw the Nigerian Football League attention to the uncomplimentary acts of the home fans to the 3SC.
He said a delegation has been dispatched to Abuja to lodge 3SC complaints, adding that the Ibadan soccer lords would also be protesting certain decisions in the domestic league that they believed were intended against them.
