Somalia — At least two people including a Somali government soldier has been killed and three others have been injured after suicide bomber targeted a base of government soldiers in the Somali capital Mogadishu, an official told Shabelle radio on Sunday.
Abdifatah Ibrahim Shaweye, Mogadishu deputy mayor told Shabelle that a foreigner exploded a car loaded with explosives in front of the base near the sea port in Mogadishu.
Witnesses said they could see a Toyota Hilux Surf heading to the base of the government soldiers in the capital.
No group has claimed the responsibility of the suicide attack.

When will the so called puppet TFG stop talking like kid - a froreign fighter did this did that. There are only two foreign forces in Somalia which are AMISOM and the Ethiopian army and they both work for the TFG. The opositon have around 150 islamist brothers who responded to help the liberation forces during the ethiopian occupation and are mostly married to somali women which makes them Somali national. Even if I label them as foreigners, a guy running around with AK47 can't in any way influence the course of the war but the AMISOM and the Ethiopians army can do. The international community must recognise that they can't sell a traitor to the same islamists he undermined. Sharif and his government are sell out and him and the international community is to be blamed for the running battles in Mogadisho. The international community should leave somali affairs for the somalis.
It is important to understand the nature of this particular conflict and those who suffer are the Somali people and not those imported figters, mercinaries... if you will. Mr Abdikarim, are you a Somali? If not you are just another extrimist who is willing to trade on the lives and well bing of the Somali people. No one suffers but our Somali brothers and sisters in this conflice and more so under extrim Islam. I do agree it is between Somalis to solve this problem but dont you think 19 years is a bit of a streach to form a government? I do. So does the international community. That is why TFGs are being tried, to start up with a democratic government that will refrain from flogging and cutting peoples hands. If you call the conflict in Somalia anything other than what it really is, you are an opportunistic extrimist who enjoys seeing millions suffer.
The end to this is pretty simple. Aweys should stop litsning to the Eritrean crezy and fom a joint front with the TFG and work to better the lives of the Somali people. Stop pushing death and destruction because in any shape and form Islam, Christian, democracy or sharia, no matter which one... it is the poor people who suffer. Peace above all because all problems have solutions. Peace to you and all the people of East Africa!!!
