Nigeria: Labour Welcomes Negotiating Committee, Postpones Rallies

Lagos — The organised labour has welcomed the decision of the Federal Government to set up a tripartite negotiating committee on a national minimum wage, and hopes that the committee will expedite action on the negotiations without further delay.

The Central Working Committee (CWC) of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and its counterpart the in Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) took this stand after reviewing the rallies of the Nigerian workers and people in Lagos and Asaba.
