Mahaday — Mo'alin Dahir Adow Alasow, the chairman of the Islamic Courts Union in Middle Shabelle region has said on Wednesday that they are organizing an assault to recapture the control of the region which is currently manned by the allied Islamist Insurgent forces of Al-shabab and Hisbul Islam.

Asked about how they want to take over the control of that region which the other forces took over its control forcibly recently, Mo'allin Dahir replied that they are the people who were born to that region and aggressively attacked adding that they will recapture it.

The statement of the Islamic Courts Union in Middle Shabelle region comes as heavy fighting between the ICU and the allied forces of Al-shabab and Hisbul Islam started yesterday afternoon in and around the residences near Mahaday village in the Middle Shabelle region which both sides of the fighting claimed victory on the fighting.
