Asmara — The Minister of Public Works, Mr. Abraha Asfaha, and the Director of the Office of the President, Mr. Yemane Gebremeskel, said that the strategic Kohaito-Foro road which is under construction within the framework of the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign symbolizes the nation's internal capacity and the competence of national companies.
In the course of a visit to College of Social Sciences and the strategic road in Adi-Keih sub-zone, the two officials stressed the major contribution of the Kohaito-Foro strategic road in promoting the provision of social services in the area, besides linking the Southern and Northern Red Sea regions.
Reports indicated that the local inhabitants are actively engaged in the construction of water diversion schemes in the area adjacent to the road.
