Mogadishu — Sporadic gunfire between the government soldiers and allied forces of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen and Hisbul Islam is continuing in parts of Yaqshid district in the Somali capital Mogadishu, witnesses told Shabelle radio on Tuesday.

Residents said that the sound of sporadic gunfire could be heard this morning in and around the area of yesterday's fighting in Yaqshid district in Mogadishu as the two rival sides are still in their positions of the fighting.

The fighting that started yesterday in Yaqshid district caused to flee the few people remained in that district from their houses there.

Many people had displaced earlier in that district which more other civilians are still busy for fleeing their houses to get shelter from the safe area in or out of the capital.
