Luanda — The Culture minister, Rosa Cruz e Silva, on Thursday here manifested her satisfaction at the signing of a memorandum that aims at protecting the cultural heritage that exists in this city's downtown.
Rosa Cruz e Silva assinou signed with the governor of Luanda, Francisca do Espírito Santo, a memorandum on "Protection of Cultural Heritage", relating to historic zones of Luanda.
The minister said that after the signing of that document her institution is better equipped to play its role.
Addressing Luanda government and Culture Ministry officials, Rosa Cruz e Silva said she believes that with this move it will be possible to have the collaboration of Luanda citizens and all those that love this city, to find ways to work together to preserve the history of the province.
"I believe that all will preserve the history and memory, above all the legacy, of everyone that contributed to the edification of this city" stressed the minister.
