Nigeria: Osotimehin - Sustained Funding Will Hasten Elimination of Malaria

Lagos — Sustained funding for treatment of malaria in Nigeria will lead to its total elimination by the year 2014, while its spread and impact can also be cut by 50 per cent by the end of 2010, or early 2011.

Minister of Health, Professor Babatunde Osotimehin, said this yesterday during a visit to THISDAY's corporate head office in Apapa, Lagos.
