Viana — The minister of Economy, Manuel Nunes Júnior, said on Saturday in Viana district, in Luanda, that with the creation of the "Nosso Super" commercial network it was possible to reduce price hike in products part of the basic commodities of the national market.
Manuel Júnior, who was speaking at the inauguration of the second "Nosso Super" supermarket in Viana district, totalling 28 the amount of these business establishments countrywide, said that before this network existed there was a price rise tendency of the main basic products.
Formally established by the Angolan government, the Programme of Restructuring the System of Logistics and Distribution of Basic Products to the Population (PRESILD) is aimed at organising and modernising trade activity in the whole country for the increase of the supply of essential products to the population.
The PRESILD project expects to build more two Nosso Super supermarkets soon, in the country's capital (Luanda) and in Soyo district, northern Zaire province, in order to complete the 31 supermarkets contained in the programme.
