Luanda — Angolan Prime Minister, António Paulo Kassoma, arrived Tuesday in Libreville, Gabon, to participate in the funeral ceremony of Gabonese President, Omar Bongo Ondimba, in representation of the Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos.
The Prime Minister being is accompanied by the Foreign Affairs minister, Assunção dos Anjos, the Foreign Affairs Ministry Africa department director, Nelson Cosme, and top officials from the Premier's office.
Omar Bongo, who passed away on June 08, in Spain, from an illness, will be buried on June 18 in Franceville, his homeland of Haut-Ogooué (east), after a week of homage in Libreville, where the remains arrived Thursday.
He was born in Lewai, currently called Bongoville, near Franceville.
