Luanda — The world financial and economic crises slightly affected the concession program of micro-credit for family agricultures affiliated in Unaca-Confederation of Farmer Associations and Cooperative Companies of Angola, assured this Tuesday, in Luanda, the head of the organization, Paulo Uime.
Speaking to Angop, about bank credit amid the international economic crises, the official said that the fund which is being given to agriculture is still being done in the same way and with the quantities mentioned by the Government, despite of the crises effect on the banking system had caused credit restrictions and guarantees of greater banking obligation.
According to the official, from 2008 until the first quarter of this year the process did not suffer any change, once the Saving and Credit Bank (BPC) and Sol Bank had given to Unaca farmers about USD 7.4 million.
