Lubango — The Angolan musician Carlos Burity will perform on Friday in a charity gala in Lubango City, southern Huíla Province, promoted by the Angolan and Italian associations "Showa Gaspar" and "Di Martinho", respectively.
Speaking to ANGOP on Tuesday, the spokesman of the event, Aldo Di Clemente, said that the gala aims at supporting homeless children, as well as needy families.
He also said that the event expects to gather about 1,500 people and the admission tickets will cost 6,500 kwanza.
According to him, the singer Carlos Burity has already been contacted to participate in the event.
Aldo Di Clemente said that other local musicians, without mentioning names, have also been invited to perform.
