Asmara — The creation of economically, socially, scientifically and technologically developed country is among the six basic objectives and national visions enshrined within the Eritrean national Charter. As President Isaias Afwerki has repeatedly outlined in the recent interviews he conducted, the concise line of the policies being employed by the government attempt to secure social justice and distribution of equal rights. And surely enough, a society which enjoys equal distribution of resources and rights, is more than capable of achieving development.
In order to grasp this vision, it is imperative that productivity is increased, also there's a need for improving productivity as well as quality of the labor force. Hence, the Government of Eritrea, in line with its policy of self reliance, has been exerting strenuous efforts to instill work discipline in the youth, and eventually the process has produced thousands of heroes of development. Also, the presence of national organizations that play a huge role in catalyzing development has created massive developmental groups throughout the nation. The youth that work in the national organizations and members of the Defense Forces to increase their production capacity, were armed with different machineries and technologies that come in handy in the nation building process.
The introduction of costly modern technology and machineries with the addition of producing heroes of development capable of operating those machines will eventually ensure an economic emancipation. The Eritrean Government, understanding that investing today will lay grounds for the future development of tomorrow is allocating all available resources for developmental endeavors. And this stands witness to the fact that the government of Eritrea is bearing responsibility to build developed society.
As it could be explained with evidence, in a world, in which instances of exploitation and domination of resources are common; it is possible to ensure economic emancipation through improving scientific and technological capacity and freeing oneself from exploitation and exerting every effort to become partner in the global economy.
Hence, at the time where the world is transforming into a village through the advancement of science and technology the effort to possess modern technology and capacity for economic development is not only for the sake of pride but mainly also a precondition for having a libertarian and reliable position within the international community. In this regard, Eritrea has become a proprietor of heavy machineries, found in only few countries, and professional heroes of development capable of operating those machineries.
