Super Eagles is expected in Tunis today, for the all-important 2010 World Cup qualifier against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Saturday.
The team has been in Malta since Monday, perfecting its game plan for the encounter.
Despite hiccups in its camping arrangement, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Scribe, Bolaji Ojo-Oba, assured of the team preparedness for the match
He confirmed that the team would leave Malta for Tunis on Thursday.
According to the scribe, the players are focused for the match, adding that the three players, Joseph Yobo, John Utaka, Dele Aiyenugba and the team Assistant Coach, Daniel Amokachi that missed the Malta camp were expected to join the team on Thursday.
"The players and coach will leave tonight (Wednesday night) for Tunis," Ojo-Oba said on Wednesday.
"The players and the technical crew are doing very well; I can assure you of that. Everybody is focused."
Meanwhile, Nigerian fans eager to watch the match live may realise their ambition, as the Presidential Task Force has concluded plans to ferry soccer fans and a few journalists to the match venue through a chartered aircraft.
Sources close to the task force revealed that the aircraft have been scheduled to leave Nigeria on Friday, and return immediately after the match on Saturday.
