Luanda — The head of the Southern African region of the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC), Francoise Le Goff, arrived Sunday in Luanda for a four-day work visit to Angola, aimed at assessing with local authorities matters relating to humanitarian actions carried out by the government and by the institution.
Shortly after her arrival Fraçoise Le Goff, met with representatives of this international institution in Angola and of the Red Cross of Angola (CVA).
According to her visit agenda made available to ANGOP, Francoise Le Goff will also meet with the governor of Luanda, Francisca do Espírito Santo, and with the ministers of Health and Planning, José Van-Dúnem and Ana Dias Lourenço, respectively.
Meetings with members of executive council and with president of CVA, Isabel dos Santos, as well as with members of National Commission for Civil Protection, are part of Le Goff's programme, who is visiting the country for the second time.
Her first visit to Angola took place in 2007.
