Tunis — During a ceremony organized at the Carthage International Airport on Thursday, a Tunisair subsidiary in charge of passenger assistance, baggage handling, and maintenance of aircrafts , Tunisair Handling (TH) was officially attributed the ISO 9001-2000 certification for its activities in all of Tunisia's airports. The ceremony was chaired by the Minister of Transport Mr Abderrahim Zouari.
On May 5, 2009, the French Normalisation Association (AFNOR) attributed the certification to TH in recognition of the conformity of its services to international norms.
This year, three Tunisian airports (Tunis Carthage, Djerba and Monastir) have set up an international call centre linked to the international baggage search system dubbed "World Tracer Management", in view of further assisting passengers with baggage claims.
