Mendefera — The remains of a total of 1,888 martyrs gathered from the Southern region in general and Tsorona, Senafe, Adi-quala, Mai-Mine and Areza in particular were laid to rest in peace at the Patriots Cemetery in Areza sub-zone today.

The remains of the patriots accompanied by marching parade arrived at the patriot's cemetery where they were made to rest in peace.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mustafa Nurhusein, Administrator of the Southern region underlined that all nationals are obliged to play their due role in the nation building process with dedication in line with the pledge to honor the trust of martyrs
