Tunis — Tunisia's national handball team won the international tournament organized from June 21 to 23, 2009 at the Ben Arous indoor sports stadium, near Tunis.
The tournament which represents a timely warm up for the 2009 Pescara Mediterranean games, was won by Tunisia with 6 points, ahead of Egypt 3 points, Algeria 2 points and the Tunisian junior national team with 1 point.
Tunisia beat Egypt 27-25 during the final day of the tournament. On Monday, it defeated Algeria 32-21.
