Luanda — The first vice speaker of the Angolan Parliament, Jo ã o Lourenço, Wednesday in Luanda reiterated the need to fight illegal immigration and other crimes committed in the country for the preservation of national sovereignty.
The deputy made these declarations at the opening ceremony of national defence journey at Congresses Palace.
Jo ã o Lourenço said that as the country consolidates peace, democracy, its economic and social indicators there will be greater possibility of cross-border crimes, drug trafficking, money falsification and illegal immigration.
To prevent these cases the MP said that national security system should work with civil society and fight issues that can destabilize the country.
The source added that globalization, apart from bringing positive things, it enables the violation of the country's borders, crimes and negative practices for the people security.
