Eritrea: EFE Stepping Up Efforts to Improve the Socio-Economic Condition of Employers

Asmara — The Employers Federation of Eritrea (EFE) is exerting relentless efforts to upgrade the socio- economic condition of employers, Mr.Sium Woldu, Secretary General of the Federation disclosed.

Stating that the EFE is striving to extend the necessary assistance, guidance and training to members in a bid to boost their knowledge and bring about change, Mr.Sium pointed out that the main aim of the Federation is to promote suitable work environment through ensuring communication and cooperation among workers.

He further indicated that the Federation maintains good relations with the National Confederation of Eritrean Workers (NCEW) and the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare.

The Employers Federation of Eritrea (EFE) which was established in 1998 has more than 700 member enterprises.
