Asmara — Sabur Printing Press is in the process of publishing textbooks for the Ministry of Education after winning Nfa. 60 million auction.
Mr. Musie Tesfamariam, managing director of the printing press, said that it won the auction competing with printing presses in the UK, Italy, South Africa and Egypt in terms of price, time of printing and other criteria.
He further indicated that the printing press is now in the position of publishing books inside the country that used to be handled abroad thanks to the substantial investment it made in 2005 leading to the introduction of modern equipments.
Sabur Printing Press which was established 1997 is currently printing newspapers, books and other print materials.
