Luanda — The Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, defended Friday in Luanda the establishment of a mutually advantageous strategic partnership with Russia.
José Eduardo dos Santos was speaking at the opening ceremony of official talks between delegations of Angola and Russia, under the visit of Russian President, Dmitri Medvedev, to Angola.
According to the president, both countries have a great potential to be developed in several areas, believing that it is possible to establish partnership, including strategic one, with advantages for both countries and based on equalities.
He declared also that the visit of Russian Head of State comes to boost the cooperation between both countries, giving them new perspectives.
Talks will end with the signing of political, economic, social and scientific-cultural agreements.
