Mogadishu — The Somali transitional government president Sharif Sheik Ahmed has Saturday congratulated to Djibouti republic and people for the celebration of its 32nd independence anniversary as it took its sovereignty from the French colonization on 27th Jun in1977
Abdikadir Barmaj, the information director of the presidential palace read a press release which the Somali president issued saying that the president congratulated to his partner Osmail Omar Ghelle and all the population of Djibouti for the celebration of the freedom day pointing out that it is a great day for the people in Djibouti.
The party of Djibouti Independence day started at midnight and more delegates from around the world including a delegation from the transitional government led the speaker of the Somali parliament Sheik Aden Madobe are due to attend the celebration.
Reports say that the Djibouti president Osma'il Omar Ghelle will attend the celebration and suggest long address on Somali matters.
The 32nd anniversary of Djibouti independence comes after the southern Somalia's Independence Day on 26th June 2009 which was the first time the Somali's flag was set up in the country in 1960s, but was not celebrated well by the Somali people except demonstrations welcoming in parts of Galgudud region in central Somalia.
