Arusha — Masai Camp is hosting the final competition for Arusha's Got Talent this Sunday starting at 4.30 pm in the afternoon.
The competition started one month ago with over 75 talented performers from around the Arusha area.
Each group or act got only 5 minutes to impress the judges and every week one half was eliminated and the remaining returned to compete every Sunday in June.
According to the event organizers, each week the contest got more exciting as there are now only 10 talented acts that are left standing. The remaining 10 hopefuls will get 15 minutes of stage time to do battle and impress the judges. The top four acts will receive prize money totaling Tsh.1,000,000 this Sunday.
Along with the 10 remaining finalists there are other talented performances who also are part of the show. This week's special guests include the talented Bob Julie, major Tanzanian hip hop star JCB, and Dave the drummer from United Nations Tribunal and others.
Arushans are welcome to join the fun and excitement as this final week winds up with Arusha's newest 'Star' taking home Tsh.500,000 for first prize. Entrance for the final competition is Tsh.2,000.
