Turning to parents and guardians, the Wisdom Community School keynote speaker opined that there are some parents who don’t care about the education of their children; some care deeply but are constrained by difficulties to send their children or wards to school.
“You will have to muster the courage, cast your hope far ahead, for the good of your children, yourself and the nation,” he told parents of students.
“Educating your child, children or ward is the most productive and most promising investment any man and woman can make. Like any investment, you are bound to reap whatever you sow This means, the level of support you give your child, children or ward will largely determine the level and quality of education he or she gets; and the level and quality of education he or she gets determines the level and quality of dividends he receives; and the level and quality of dividends he or she receives will determine the level and quality of support he will give to you the parents, the community and the nation.”
Maximore: “Don’t compromise the quality of your child’s education. I say this because I know that parents can compromise their children’s education when they negotiate with teachers and school administrators for free or underserved passing marks for their children; when they allow their children to be abused and exploited by teachers and school administrators; when they allow their children to dictate to them regarding frequent change of schools; when they fuss with teachers who don’t give their children underserved passing marks.”
The GAC middle-level staffer did not forget to remind teachers and school administrators of their responsibility.
Teachers and school administrators are the cornerstone of national development and progress, he said, stressing that while other counterparts in other disciplines rush to big salaries and fabulous life, teachers remain meek, committed and devoted to the cause to training the human mind so that the trained mind will lead a nation well, dispense justice, build infrastructure, keep the peace and represent the country in the comity of nations.
“I admonish all of you to continue the sacrificial and productive efforts particularly for Liberia which is suffering from massive brain drain and backwardness in every aspect of life.”

There is no doubt, that the fate of President Sirleaf's first term will be judged by the the way she handles some destinct problems such as: #1.Reconciliation #2.Education #3.Corruption #4.Rehabilitation and Demobilization, finally #5.Jobs Since taken office in 2005,the President had tackle most of the above problems. But the question is how were these problems handle? The President willingness to speak of the country terrible past always spark critics from her oppositions. But has opened the door for reconciliation. This President is driven to moves the country in a positive directions. President Ellen Sirleaf will be considered as the most impressive leader Liberia ever had. She has reinvented the actual meaning of governance in the country. She has set the bar too high for those wishing to seek office in the government. The most impressive thing we know about the President is,she confront problems that are way of life directly and profoundly. Whether you agree with her or not. Whether you think she is too ambitious or just plain wrong. Her Presidency is the most challenging one the country ever had. With nothing to work with, she had done so many things them any other president in the history of the Republic. The most hisoric President in Africa not because of gender gut her policies and politics GO Ellen GO 2011 Here We Come. FELIX,Navare Avenue.
Well, it is time for all Liberians to come together and contribute in the reconstruction of our beloved country. It is also time for us to put our differences behind and help the government in her development agenda. Liberians must know that no one can rebuild our country, except we (Liberians). We can all do so by offering our services in those areas were they are most needed. the spirit of waiting for the government for employment and development should be put aside. the spirit of self motivation is what is needed now!
There is no question about that, the country is still face with lot of challenges. The country under the leadership of president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is progressing in the right directions. What we need as a people is to gets involve and don't sit on the sideline. Let's us give our services in rebulding the country. National services often tastes like cassava and palm butter-who's not in for this? But the economic distress and the lacks of founding can make it difficult to recruit potential service men and women. The are lot problems on the President's plate but involving everyone can jump start a range of programs. This president has done alot over the years she had stay in office then any president. She has the ideas to generate more programs, especially high minded ones; but she don't have the support to do all that or the implementation is difficult. Few months ago the president spoke at U.C Berkeley in California making the case for the liberian people. THE President gave a compelling speech describing how her administration had responded to the financial crisis and every other problems facing the liberian's government. With too much on plate and nothing to work with. She is still the best thing that can happen to the country. The president willingness to speak openly about the country's mistakes and how the country can move forward. There are more for her to get done but she had done her best in the few years she still in office. God bless her and the Liberian people. TAVACANO,California
