Ebrima Bojang a Real de Banjul and the National U-17 player has signed a four year deal with French First division side St. Etienne revealed Gambian Sports online.
Bakery Jammeh the Vice President of Real de Banjul was quoted as saying that he is very happy that Ebrima Bojang has finally signed as a professional player but was not a surprise to him since the boy has shown his qualities.
According to Jammeh, Italian champions Inter Milan, English side Tottenham Hotspurs, French duo of Nantes and St. Etienne and German side Hoffenham were both keen on the lad but they choose St. Etienne.
Inter Milan, Tottenham, Nantes, St. Etienne and Hoffenham were all keen on Ebrima Bojang but when we study all offers, we realised that the St. Etienne's offer shoots all parties and that's why he signed for them.
St. Etienne don't even want him on trials, they just offer him a four year deal which he accepted. And in the long run, Real de Banjul will benefit from the deal not the short term because today he is with St. Etienne but who knows where he will be in the future". Reveal Gambia Sports on line.
"I know Inter Milan will be very disappointed that they didn't have him at this point, but that's it the future is bright for Bojang and we believed that he will be the next Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto,o or Frederic Kanutebh" Jammeh told Gambiasports.gm.
