Kampala — CITY Rock Bar, Nansana, on Saturday hosted a Michael Jackson remembrance show, where almost all his hits were played for bereaved fans. However, it was not only about listening to the fallen artiste's songs; the dance group in the house, the City Rock Entertainment, grabbed the opportunity to thrill the enthusiastic fans.

One of the dancers, commonly known as MJ, stole the show by perfectly imitating Jackson's breakdance strokes. The group also did stand-up comedy, acrobatics and creative dance.

The party spread to the gardens where lots of nyama choma (roasted meat) and wine flowed endlessly. As soon as the dance crew left the stage, ARK Entertainment Band, a new six-vocalist band took control. Judging by the audience's reaction, they rocked the house.

The band comprises Mbarara-based songbird Sister Charity, Rasta Charz, No Creature, Denis Rackla, Shamim Kinla and Lynn Abarungi Lynn.

It was a splendid show, where revellers partied till the wee hours of the morning. This marked their tribute to the King of Pop.
