Lagos — Twenty-four hours before the arrival of Jose Mourinho, the " Special One" to Nigeria tomorrow there appears to be frenzy for the tickets to watch the KFA selected team versus the junior team of Belgium's Royal Antwerp FC.
According to KFA sources, cities across the country are experiencing a lot of frenzy as more ball fans are in haste to grab match tickets and live their dreams by watching one of the world's best soccer managers in Nigeria.
"Tickets for the match in the range between N1, 000, N2, 000, and N3, 000 respectively are been snapped up fast as soon as they become available at the designated banks at Intercontinental Bank, GTBank and Zenith Bank at their Ilorin branches," observed the source.
Before the match, Mourinho is to conduct a coaching clinic on the topic: "How future talents can remain in Africa - techniques and strategies to create World beaters."
Former Super Eagles Captain, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, during the week commended Dr. Bukola Saraki, the Kwara State Governor for making it possible for ball fans in the country to have the rare opportunity to see the 'Special One' ply his trade at close quarter in Nigeria.
He described the topic for Mourinho's Seminar very appropriate. "Retaining players at home will improve our economy especially the Gross Domestic Product. It will improve the quality of the league on the home front and reduce footballers' export to the barest minimum," observed the former playmaker of the Super Eagles.
Before Saturday's game and seminar in Ilorin, Mourinho is to be the special guest at a dinner for highbrow, corporate players in Nigeria.
On Saturday, July 4 Mourinho, the famous Portuguese soccer manager, will sit on the bench to provide technical advice to a Nigerian youth side playing against their highly rated visiting counterparts, the Royal Antwerp FC Junior Internationals from Belgium.
