Annual musical extravaganzas are becoming very popular with musicians trying to show their loyalty to a particular radio station as well as fight for the mass audience these fetes attract.
This Sunday Radio Simba's Ekiggunda Ky'omwaka will be at Nakivubo Stadium and the station has reportedly registered more than 100 musicians to entertain their revellers. The annual event is sponsored by MTN Uganda.
"Being the pioneers of these fetes, we are going to do the unexpected like live broadcasting and many other crazy but constructive gimmicks," said Omulangira Ndausi, a Radio Simba presenter.
