Gambia: Gamtel Through to the Quarter Finals

Gamtel football club on Saturday defeated hawks by 4-2 in a penalty shootout at the Father Gough football field in Manjai.

The game ended in a goaless draw in the 90th minutes after so many efforts by both to put their name in the score sheet

Gamtel in the first half played well searching for a lead in the hands of Hawk's but none went fruitful as Hawks was also determined to get to the quarter finals.

All the two teams,Hawk's and Gamtel failed to utilize chances on the pitch ending the game to goaless draw. The penalty shootout ended in Gamtel's favour.

Gamtel has now joined Tallinding, Bakau and Samger in the quarter final line up..

Gamtel's next encounter is going to be as Samger while Tallinding vs Bakau next weekend.
